At Crossroads Church, we value what God values. In His Word, God proclaims His love for each of us and acknowledges us as His sons and daughters.
Imagine that … We are daughters of the Most High King.
God delights in us, His daughters, joining together to celebrate Him and gain wisdom from one another (Titus 2:3-5). We should continuously lift one another up in prayer and encourage each other. The world tells us to do just the opposite, but God’s Word tells us differently. We need to stand arm-in-arm against the lies the world and the enemy throw at us, not be a part of it.
Through Joli, Crossroads Church’s women’s ministry, we create opportunities for women to realize their true calling and potential as daughters of God. Not only do we offer awesome fellowship through our events, but we also desire to provide ministry relevant to women of all ages and in all seasons of life.
Our blog was created to connect the women of Crossroads Church through daily readings and Bible studies. We’ve assembled a team of writers from all walks of life to relate to every woman. We can all learn from each other. It’s the way God designed it. We also encourage every woman to get involved in our small groups each semester. It’s a wonderful way to form godly friendships and to connect to with others.
If you would like more information about Joli or have any questions, feel free to contact Daphne by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And, let’s claim who we really are … beautiful (Fr. – Joli) daughters of the King.
Andreika is a woman after God’s own heart. Though growing up hearing the Word of God, she did not surrender to Christ until a little over 4 years ago. She has not turned back since. Andreika and her beloved husband, Tyrus, were recently remarried on December 12, 2013. She gives God all the glory for bringing healing and restoration to their once broken marriage. Andreika has 3 stepchildren who she loves dearly. She is currently in her final year at Liberty University where she is studying Psycholgy, with a concentration in Crisis Counseling and a minor in Christian Counseling.
Andreika serves on the MAPS team and in KJAM at Crossroads Church. She also leads a small group at Crossroads and one within her home. Her main passion is seeing people break free from the bondage of sin, through salvation and growth in Christ. She has a desire to see all Christ followers living a fearless and unashamed life for the glory of God.
Andreika enjoys studying the Word of God and fellowshipping with other believers. She also enjoys food tasting-more like eating tasty foods, almost any live event-including plays and concerts- which are her favorite, quality time with her hubby, reading, writing, hanging out with friends and family, baking, frozen coffee, and simply sitting outside enjoying a nice breeze. Andreika is looking forward to even more opportunities to be used to further the Kingdom of God.
Quylana grew up in Pennsylvania and came to Louisiana in 2008 to attend Master’s Commission. After completing her first year, she felt in her heart that Louisiana was to become her home. She loves the good southern hospitality and the food doesn’t hurt either. After being here for four years, Quylana can officially say she’s settled in. She works full-time in the facilities department at Crossroads Church, which has become her second home.
When Quylana is not at work, she enjoys the company of her friends … whether it’s going to the movies, a meal out, or just sitting on the couch talking (her favorite). But just like everyone else, she also delights in time to herself. She enjoys reading a book and having a cup of coffee or tea, writing, listening to a good playlist, or even enjoy going to the movies.
Tammy attended McNeese University for one year in her pursuit for a teaching degree. Early in her Sophomore year, her plans took a sudden turn, after becoming pregnant with her second child. She then decided that her skills, and her heart, belonged at home with her children.
Tammy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Frankie, for twenty two years. She spends most of her time managing her home, where she is the proud mother of two daughters, Amber (20) and Kaitlyn (16), and one son, Mason (11). God spoke into her heart last year as He brought her passion for teaching to life once again. Tammy has recently begun teaching her own children, as she is now a third year home-schooling mom for her two youngest. Her oldest daughter recently graduated from her second year of XMC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. Tammy also spent a few years as an active member and lead vocalist for her church choir, and also taught children’s Sunday school classes. She now attends Crossroads Church with her family.
She is an aspiring writer, the editor for Joli Blog, and works part time at Crossroads Church on their Joli Womens Ministry’s planning team. She has discovered a love for women’s ministry and hopes to inspire other women to pursue God’s heart. One of her greatest joys is to bring laughter to those around her. Her deepest desire is to guide her children to live out their purpose in Christ and help others to discover His perfect love.
Tammy loves reading, blogging, baking and drinking coffee with good friends. She also loves to watch football games with her family.

Amber Latiolais Withers
Amber is recently married to her college sweetheart Travis. They have recently settled into their dream/starter home complete with a little farm. She is a graduate from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and Biology. She has taught high school agriculture and shop classes at a local high school for 4 years, as well as being the FFA advisor. Recently she received her Masters degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University, with an emphasis in youth ministry and counseling. She desires to reach her students and counsel them in a deeper way when the opportunity arises, as well as to delve into the world of theology. Learning and education is one of her passions and a doctorate degree is not that far-fetched in the future.
Since giving her life to Christ three years ago she has come to a place of peace and newfound purpose in life and her prayer is always that God’s will be done in her life.
Volunteering is one of Amber’s passions and she can be seen running presentation at church, planting grass for a coastal restoration project, at a “trash bash” or working with Hooves to Hope, a horse riding therapy for children with disabilities. She also enjoys running, reading a wonderful book…or two…or three, horseback riding, tea tasting, working herd cattle with her dad and hanging out with their newly adopted greyhound.
